Tribus Salutes Ontario for Fighting COVID-19
We know these have been difficult times. For the last few months, people in Toronto in Ontario and around the world have been working hard to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Brave frontline workers in our hospitals have been working hard to diagnose people, often at the risk of their own health. Doctors and nurses have been Ontario’s heroes, but all of our essential workers have been heroic: working hard to keep Ontario’s supply lines running and helping to protect and support its people.
Outside of the hospitals, people across the region and across the province have avoided seeing friends and loved ones, and have stayed at home whenever they could, to make sure that they didn’t spread this dangerous disease to the people that they care about. Grandparents and grandchildren have had to make the sacrifice of seeing each other only through screens, and hearing each other only through microphones.
Neighbours have been looking out for each other, too. Everybody has stories about people taking care of each other, going out and getting groceries and other supplies for people whose health makes it difficult or dangerous for them to get it themselves. People here at Tribus Homes have been in that situation, and we’re thankful for everybody that has stepped up to help out. We’re all in this together.
Now, thankfully, it looks like our hard work and sacrifice is paying off. According to the Toronto COVID dashboard, the number of cases is leveling off, and regions across Ontario are beginning the long process of reopening the economy. There’s still a lot of work to be done, and we’ll need to be vigilant for a long time to come, but our sacrifices have made a difference and saved thousands of lives.
So, as the economy opens, and Tribus Homes returns to working with people to build their dream homes, we wanted to take a moment to say “thank you”. Thank you to everybody in Toronto, Ontario, and all of Canada for working together to fight COVID-19.
You’re the reason why we love this place, and you’re the reason why we can’t wait to get back to work.
